Art Exhibitions
Arts Inside holds regular art exhibitions in community spaces, including the Grundy County Courthouse and the Artisan’s Depot in Cowan, so that class participants are able to showcase their artwork.
Art exhibitions are an opportunity for incarcerated artists to connect with friends and family as well as to celebrate their artistic growth and achievement. Our goal for the exhibitions is to create a space for families affected by incarceration to connect with one another as well as with the community as a whole.
They are also an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of incarcerated artists while giving the outside community a fuller perspective on the justice system and those affected by it.
